YAY Summer Camp gives mentees and mentors a special opportunity to bond, share experiences, and learn from each other. From August 15th – August 17th join us on a private lake for activities such as swimming, canoe races, archery, cliff diving, camp fires and much, much more. All Matches will be sleeping in a Cabin and/or a Tent at the camp site.
For the past several years, Youth Assisting Youth/The Peer Project has offered a FREE camping experience to its matches. This is possible through generous donations from the “Toronto Star Fresh Air Fund”, as well as other supporting organizations. We are graciously given three days at Camp Northern Lights, located in Haliburton, ON. All matches travel to camp on school buses, assigned to an “Team” and participate in activities that have been organized by the Summer Camp Coordinator with the support of the YAY Staff & Camp Counselors.
