York Regional Police are inviting York Region Residents to the 11th Annual Holidays in the Village celebration at the Community Safety Village.
This event brings together the region’s diverse communities to share their cultural celebrations with children and adults through decoration, costume and song.
The Community Safety Village is decorated for the festive season and hot chocolate and treats will be available as you take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the winter wonderland, bright with holiday lights. Holiday music will be heard throughout the village along with a diverse selection of entertainment.
Children will have the opportunity to make their own festive crafts, decorate a gingerbread cookie and should keep their eyes open for a visit from Santa Claus himself.
Members of the York Regional Police Community Services will answer questions related to winter safety, including winter driving and safety messages for children.
Admission is FREE and are held rain or shine, so we suggest those attending dress accordingly for the weather.
