This event is for all active YAY Mentors, Mentees and their families ONLY
The late Jack Layton conceived Messiah for the City in the late 1990s. He felt music and art should be accessible to everyone. Tickets to this special concert are not sold but rather distributed by United Way and its partner agencies to Torontonians who wouldn’t normally have access to such an event.
Toronto Beach Chorale, in partnership with Knox Presbyterian Church, presents Messiah for the City on Saturday, December 21,24. The performance features players from the Toronto Symphony, professional soloists, and an 80 voice chorus combining The Toronto Beach Chorale, Mississauga Chamber Singers and the St Anne’s Anglican Church choir.
Please note we have very limited tickets for this event. Tickets will be based on a first come first served basis.
Special Thanks to United Way Greater Toronto for providing tickets to the Gift Concert of Handel’s Messiah.
