U of T will be hosting the 19th Annual Black History Luncheon on Friday February 26th streaming LIVE from the University of Toronto on Zoom from 11am – 2pm.
The luncheon will celebrate and recognize the opportunities and contributions of the Afro-Canadian community across Canada. This year they are focusing on hockey! Along with some surprise guests, NHL player Kurtis Gabrielle from the San Jose Sharks will be answering questions from kids.
Other guests include the honored guest Kimberly B. Davis – Senior Vice President, Social Impact, Growth and Legislative Affairs at the National Hockey League (NHL), and the moderator for the event is Tatyana Ali – Actress who plays Ashley on the Fresh Prince of Bel-air.
